Born in Kumarkam, near Kottayam in Kerala Jaimon Kumarakom is the son of Kuirian and Rosamma, He completed his studies from Govt. High School, Kumarakom and Govt, college Kottayam. He worked as editorial staff with Deepika Daily, Unnikuttlan and Christeen – both children’s magazines. He has been working as the Assistant Editor in ‘Sunday Shalom’ weekly newspaper over a decade.
A talented writer and commentator on current issues he has brought out more than 40 books which cover a wide range of subjects like Ghildren’s literature, food for thought, biography etc. ‘Bouquets of unfading Love’ has been translated to English and many Indian languages. He has also written scripts for about a score of documentaries that have been telecasted in ‘Shalom TV’, apart from directing them.
